We want to ensure that your stay at our Coliving space is as enjoyable and worry-free as possible. Our spaces and amenities are top-notch, reflecting our commitment to providing a premium experience for all our guests.
You will be responsible for any damages caused to the property, amenities or equipment provided. We highly recommend that you have a private liability insurance that covers rental properties. Please also report any occurred damages promptly to the NomadUnion Team.

Please rest assured that we understand accidents can happen, and minor wear and tear, such as a broken cup or plate, is completely normal and not something you need to worry about. Our focus is on more substantial damages that may require repair or replacement.

Your comfort and satisfaction are our top priorities, and we appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain our exceptional Coliving experience for all our guests.

Use of the Coliving Space

The Coliving space is exclusively for residential purposes, including remote work and integration into the Coliving community. Only the individual who has booked the space is permitted to reside within it; no other guests are allowed. Should you choose to bring in another person, you are still responsible for any damages caused by them.

House Rules

In addition to the aforementioned responsibilities, you agree to abide by the following house rules:
-
You are responsible for damages you cause.
-
Observe quiet hours between 11:00 PM and 8:00 AM.
-
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the house.
-
Drug use is strictly prohibited on the entire property.
-
Please take off your (street) shoes in the house. We recommend to bring slippers.
-
We aim to keep the Coworking Spaces during weekdays a quiet area. Consider taking calls in your room or in the Meeting room.
-
Air Conditioning in the Common Spaces is kept just below 26°C (79°F) in the summer and just above 19°C (66°F) in the Winter according to French Law. See AC Usage guidelines below.
-
Thoroughly ventilate your room regularly to prevent mold.
-
If you take extra towels (e.g. pool towels), blankets or shared items, kindly return them back cleaned and ready to use for the next person.
-
Kitchen Etiquette & Dishwasher Rules
-
To keep our shared kitchen in great shape for everyone:
-
Please do NOT put the following items in the dishwasher:
-
Plastics – they can warp or release harmful substances.
-
Sharp knives – high heat can damage the steel and make them brittle.
-
Non-stick pans – dishwasher detergent degrades the coating.
-
-
Instead, kindly wash these items by hand and leave them to dry on the rack.
-
🧹 Everyone shares responsibility for a clean kitchen, including:
-
Loading and unloading the dishwasher
-
Taking out the trash and recycling
-
Wiping down surfaces after use
-
-
Let’s all do our part to keep the space welcoming and functional for the whole community. 🙌
-
-
Any policy, organizational, or conceptual changes made by NomadUnion must be adhered to.

Cleaning Duties

Maintaining cleanliness in our shared space is crucial for everyone's comfort and well-being. In addition to the responsibilities outlined above, we kindly ask that you adhere to the following cleaning duties:

-
Regularly clean common areas such as the kitchen, living room, terrace, and others to ensure they remain tidy and welcoming for all residents.
-
Keep your personal belongings organized and refrain from cluttering shared spaces.
-
Wash your dishes promptly after use and store them appropriately.
-
Dispose of garbage and recyclables in designated bins and ensure they are properly sorted.
-
Clean up after yourself in shared bathrooms, including wiping down surfaces and removing personal items.
-
Participate in scheduled or voluntary cleaning sessions to maintain the overall cleanliness of the coliving space.

Your cooperation in keeping NomadUnion clean and comfortable for everyone is greatly appreciated.

Environmental Responsibility

As part of our commitment to sustainability, we urge you to be mindful of your environmental impact. Tips for energy conservation include:
-
Conserve water by turning off taps when not in use.
-
Turn off lights when leaving a room. Smaller lights in the common areas as well as property lights are automated, but please turn off any spot lights in the ceiling as well as bathroom lights, when not in use.
-
Be mindful of electricity consumption, and unplug devices when not in use.

AC Usage Guidelines:
-
Set Temperature
-
Please set the AC to a comfortable and energy-efficient temperature between 25-26°C (77-79°F) according to French law. The temperature difference to the outside should not exceed 7-8°C.
-
-
Time of Use
-
Please turn off the AC when you leave your room. Do not use the AC when doors and windows are open. When the AC is shared between rooms ("Antibes" and "St. Tropez" in the Villa) make sure the windows are closed in both rooms.
-
-
Blinds/Curtains
-
Our curtains are insulated and highly effective at preventing rooms from heating up. Please close them during the hottest part of the day.
-
-
Nighttime Cooling
-
While it can be hot during the day, temperatures typically cool down to 20-21°C (68-70°F) at night. Please take advantage of this by opening windows overnight to cool your room naturally. In the Villa, we have mosquito nets installed for your comfort.
-
-
Awareness:
-
Excessive AC use impacts the environment. Please be mindful and consider using fans (or fan function of the AC) and wearing light clothing to stay cool. Use the ACs only when really needed.
-

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Together, we can create a comfortable and sustainable living environment.
